As part of the Festival of Architecture our practice was invited to curate an exhibition celebrating the life and work of Patrick Geddes. Entitled A BOTANIST LOOKS AT THE WORLD – The Life and Work of Patrick Geddes (1854 – 1932). The exhibition was researched and developed with reference to the Geddesian triptych PLACE • WORK • FOLK. Images, illustrations and supporting text were organised as a series of wall hung square panels presenting Geddes’s ideas and values (view all the exhibition panels here). A broad selection of original archive material was also displayed within specially commissioned tables.
